My approach is simple. Make things easy for people.

My ultimate goal is to create products that fit seamlessly into the busy lives of their users. I carry the principles of empathy, accessibility, and intuitivity not only into my design work but in my life in general. All things that comprise a worthwhile human experience are built on these foundations.

There should be no question about how something works or what to tap or click next, and any instructions should be as minimal as necessary to get the job done. Most people are looking to navigate their world as quickly as possible so they can do what they need to and move on. Microcopy and product writing are additional skills that I've earned through decades of experience (efficient communication and anticipating needs professionally) well before my training in product design began.

I also love imbuing a project with its own sense of character and identity, beyond just that of a brand but a life of its own for a humanized experience. Products that seamlessly perform their functions also carry with them their own goals and values, and it is so important that a product bring these unique aspects of itself into each human interaction.
